Hello everyone and welcome to my part of being one in a million. Who am I? Good question. I am someone that has gone through many changes in my 35 years on this earth and I will probably go through many more. I remember not to long ago I was a person that was lost in many ways. I did not know who I wanted to be or who I was. I first learned of what your mind can do when I was in Salem Oregon at the Oregon State Fair and I saw a show of Hypnomania. Now talk about blowing my mind. At first I thought that they were a bunch of actors that Travis had hired. Well I was way wrong. I decided to go to another one of his showes sence I was working there and was called up on stage a few times. I know that what I did on that stage blew my mind in more ways then one. Well I went to almost every show that Travis had at the fairs that I worked at and was on stage a good many times (also in the audiance). I became hooked. I saw things done on that stage with compasion and trust and love. Things that I have not seen at other hypnosis shows. In working the fair industry you can see a lot of hypnosis shows and not all of them are done with the passion that Travis and Jessica Fox have done. Well I had an opertunity to have some training with Travis and loved every second of it. The problem is that I was not ready for it. For I did not trust and believe in myself. So I left that with some information, and I told myself that I was not good enough, or that I was not able to learn this stuff. In my travels around this great land that we live in when I was doing sales. I took what travis had told me and used some of it for fun. Yet most of it I used on myself. I met my wife Patricia in the company that we both worked for and I had a life changing event. You see Patricia is someone who does not back down and goes for what she wants in most ways if it will help someone grow better. She could not have been at a better place and time for me. I told her about hypnosis and she told me that her mother had taught her a few things that were hypnotic to get her kids to sleep at night. She still uses them on her kids today. She told me that I should go and get my certificate in hypnosis. I told her no way I can not do that. Well she looked around Michigan and found Infinity Institute. She enroled me and said to follow my dreams. Well when you work in sales you travel. I was able to recive my basic and self hypnosis certification March 13 2005. I was on top of the world. I started to use my teaching with my wife with the employes that we had in putting them into hypnosis so that they could learn the training faster the the other groups that we had. That worked very well, yet our company did not support our efforts. When we left the company we came back to Portland Oregon. My Home. Now that was not the best, but Patricia and I made the best of it. I will not go into all of the details of living in Portland, but lets just say that it has been a challenge that I am happy that we made. When I came back to Portland I did construction. I did it because that is what I knew. I worked with my father and a few other people, but that is not what I wanted to do. So I looked into hypnosis training here in Portland. I found Apositiva with Rich and Cat Willson. I talked with my mother about hypnosis and found out that she used hypnosis for the greiving prossess when my brother died of cancer. She said that if this is what I wanted to do that she would pay for it but I would have to pay her back. When I met Rich and Cat Patricia wanted to get her certification also, the sad thing is that the money was not there so she was not able to come with me. Rich and Cat were teaching Hypnosis and NLP. Wow looking back on that experiance I am a different man. I said everytime that I went in there that I did not want to learn NLP because I just wanted hypnosis. Well to this day I use both. So as it stands right now I now have my C.ht certificat and my NLP certification as a practioner of NLP. I hope that makes sence. Patricia is a certified hypnotist through HMI. Well to continue. One day on April 5th 2007 My boss laid me off. I was sitting in our living room and wondering what I was going to do now. Well Patricia said to me that I should go and aply at Positive Changes Hypnosis Center in Tigard Oregon. I looked at her and gave her dirty looks and stomped my feet. I did not want to do hypnosis for someone else. I did not want to get out of my box that I was comforatable in. I was doubting myself again. I called Positive Changes. I have been there ever sence. I love what I do and how I do it. I have met some great people and it has given me the ablility to do what I want to do. I want to work for myself. Patricia and I have a dream to open our own hypnosis clinic. We just have not been able at this time to do it. Patricia does some hypnosis out of our office in Tigard Oregon when people call, but we are not that visable yet. There are many things that I want to learn and I know that Travis can teach me what is left about hypnosis and the like. I would like to take this time right here to thank Travis and Jessica for all that they have done to help me with my life. I want you two to both know that I love you both and hope that all is well with your life. So in closing I would like to add a few things that I have learned from Travis and Jessica Fox. Believe in yourself. Trust in what your mind can do and live your life like you already have what you want. Travis I want to let you know that you have been an influence in my life and I apreciate all that you give. I now want to give back what you have taught me to others and be one in a million.
