I was born in Highland Park Michigan and moved with my family to Spokane Washington when I was 14 years old. I left Washington in 1988 and moved proceeded to move around the country for a while. I moved to NE Montana (Brrr-r), then Minnesota (not as cold), followed by Phoenix Arizona (melting...) and finally landed in beautiful Oregon (just right). While doing all this moving I also pursued my education getting an A.A. degree in Psychology and Sociology, a BSW with a concentration in Criminal Justice, and my MSW with a concentration in Criminal Justice and Administration. After college I worked towards and achieved my LCSW and training in EMDR, EFT, TIR, and many, many hours of continuing education. I have two beautiful daughters, an awesome son-in-law, and 2 energetic grandchildren. I am employed currently as a drug and alcohol counselor and get to work with a lot of different issues! I also work part time for a gaming company setting up and working casino parties. It is all for fun - no real money on my table please unless your tipping! When I am not working or training I volunteer my time as a Volunteer Chaplin in the local jail, with the American Red Cross as a disaster action team member, and in my church as the chair of the Endowment committee and on the praise team. I love to travel and go camping and can find me most of the time on my motorcycle. Many people are surprised to find out I have a car too! I am excited to learn more about hypnosis so I can use my skills to help the people I work with. I am just now finishing my Foundations class through the Hypnosis Motivation Institute and looking forward to learning more.
