About

I am a person who believes it is absolute necessary for people to think for themselves. The ability to question things and come to your own conclusions based on what is right is a rare and beautiful skill. When one choses not to seek the answers for oneself, but instead follow others, the risk is great. We often forget that those we follow are just as human and falible as we are. In order to determine the best course for our individual lives, we must be quiet often enough to hear the internal voice within ourselves. I love beautiful things like the smell of lilacs in the spring time, the breath taking view of the Tulip Fields in full bloom, the sound of wood crackling in the fireplace on a stormy night, the taste of homemade, fresh baked, right out-of-the-oven, hot, chocolate chip cookies and the feel of holding a loved one in a tight embrace that communicates volumes with no words. Born and raised in a moderately sized coastal town in Oregon, I attended the same school district for twelve years. I then moved to a small college town for 11 years and now live in an even smaller town where I raised my family. I've worked hard to obtain every inch I've moved. With many difficult obstacles to overcome, the good memories I've obtained have brought me through each and every turn, and have me at the edge of my seat waiting to see what comes next.

Hey I'm glad your here. Have you been to the groups section and read any of the coachings? There is so much to be gained from the different perspectives everyone has. Hope to see you in there.

Hi, Parks's!! I am in Salem too. Good to see some local folks here. I read your prof. and seems you are a like-minded soul. Thought I would stop in to say Hi and kudos for thinking for yourself. I, too, think that is so important and while compromise is important, never compromise your morals and never be afraid of what others think when you stand up for your morals. Most importantly, though, is just KEEP IT LIGHT. Nothing should weigh you down mentally, physically, spiritually. I am long winded. But read my prof. if you like and add me to your list of friends. Look forward to chatting with you soon. Lotsa Love, Laura
