I know this might be a dumb question, but what is HMI and where do I find it?

You have caught me at a time when I'm not pressed for time so I'll take a moment to say hi. I've tinkered with Hpynosis (much like some of what you describe on your page) for about 40 years. Learned it in College. Worked with self, family, friends but never had an opportunity for more formal training or any type of certification. Have talked to Travis many times at the Puyallup fair over the last 7 years or so. Now I'm retired so I'm looking at doing "fun" things. On that list are Photography, Travel, doing more with Hypnosis etc. I spent 34 years in engineering, 25 in management and found that I could incorporate the principles of positive suggestion in to my management style to create a much more positive working environment. I would like to know more about the site, and have some questions which I have posed to Travis, but he is usually occupied. He suggested I become part of FMC but didn't say how. I've looked at some of the groups and joined at least one.

So.... hope this is the type of communication you were looking for as you are only the second person on MMP I've responded to. Weather has been good, sun out, fall leaves changing so computer has taken a lower priority until it starts to rain.

I am so glad to hear from you and anything you want to know I will gladly give you. As far as being an FMC, it's not just a title it's a lot of responsibility. There are opportunities of both personal and semi-professional latitudes with the FMC title. It's kind of like a sponsorship, in that you would be contributing, like my husband and I and the other FMC's, to the growth and development of this community. There are so many new things that are going to come to this community, areas for learning everything that you are interested in from Travis, his vission for the FMC's is not just as a special title but more as a way to help us all grow in the areas that we are interrested in, opportunities will be coming up for distributorships and so much more. If you really are interrested in becoming an FMC, then Jessica Fox is the one to contact. In the meantime, if you want to get some formal training that won't cost you anything but a little time, then I can recomend a place to get it. HMI, that is where I went to get my basic certification in hypnosis. It's free and informative as well. It will give you what you need to decide if you want to go further with this. I am more than excited about the fact that you have joined some of the groups and hope that one of them was Travis's coaching because what he does there is right along the area of education, whether personal or to help others, that begins the path to growth.

I hope that you continue come to me if you have anything you want to know.

At the present time I'm retired. Was in engineering / management for 34 years and decided to take early out to reduce stress. Travel, photography, and other more relaxed activities are on my list. I've tinkered with Hypnosis self, family, friends for about 40 years (learned it in College). Don't have many people to discuss it with as the topic does not come up much in casual conversation.
